Passionately Pink for the CureTM
Passionately Pink for the Cure® is a fundraising and awareness program. It’s a simple but effective way for groups around the country to show their support for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
In just two years, Passionately Pink has raised more than $7 million to fund breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment programs, with more than $1.5 million going to participating Affiliates. We hope to raise $5 million in 2008, which means more than $1 million will be shared with participating Affiliates. We really need your help to get there.
Important changes for 2008: Groups will be allowed to register and participate anytime between May and October.
Anyone can participate in Passionately Pink for the Cure! Groups pick a day (or days), anytime from May to October, to wear pink and make a $5 or more personal donation to Komen for the Cure. Recruit companies, religious or social groups, schools, clubs, friends and family to go Passionately Pink for the Cure®, and have them register at http://www.passionatelypink.org. Registered groups receive a participation kit that includes posters to promote their day, breast health information and Passionately Pink for the Cure pins for participants to wear to show their support for the cure.
