Ride for the Cure

The QC Memorial Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is pleased to announce another event to correspond with the Annual Komen QC Race For The Cure®.

On Saturday, October 4, 2008, motorcyclists throughout the area will participate in the 1st annual Komen QC RIDE FOR THE CURE® Motorcycle Parade. Join our motorcycle parade and festivities to raise funds to help eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. "RIDE" Registration will be announced in the near future. The "Ride" is a co-ed AMA sanctioned ride that lets motorcyclists support the fight against breast cancer in their own unique way. Motorcyclists who are interested in participating can contact Jeff at qcrideforthecure@hughes.net Advance Packet pick-up will be occur before the ride. Group packet pickup is available; however, designated leaders must take the entire groups packets.

Important Reminders

• Please allow plenty of time to get to the Ride site as large crowds are expected.
• The first 1,500 registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt and pin featuring the 2008 design prior to the Ride. We encourage you to register early.
• This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to Komen for the Cure Quad Cities.
• There will be no refunds or transfers of registration to another person.
